Country Parks Network

Supported by Keep Britain Tidy, the Country Parks Network exists primarily as a networking opportunity for practitioners interested in, or managing, country parks or related sites delivering similar functions.

The network:

  • Highlights sites registered with the network as calling themselves a country park or delivering the functions of this type of site
  • Shares good practice, policy guidance and relevant news

Membership is currently free and open to anyone with an interest in country parks and a desire to share and/or keep up to date with developments, news and good practice that may be relevant to them.

The Network Newsletter is produced monthly, highlighting relevant news and developments. Members are invited to submit items (news, significant events and questions where advice is sought) for inclusion. Please send any contribution to network.enquiries@keepbritaintidy.org

Through the Good practice exchange, there is a wealth of material held on the web site to draw from, with members invited to contribute further examples.

The Network Steering Group comprises a number of Network Members from across the Country who work with Keep Britain Tidy to manage the Network and offer a practitioners view/reaction to sector developments relevant to Country Parks. In the past, this Group worked with Natural England to establish the Accreditation Scheme for Country Parks.
