team are finalists in the National Recycling Awards 2017 Team of the Year Award – Public/Third Sector. They presented to the judging panel last
month and will find out if they have won at the awards ceremony on 28 June.

people on their doorstep about recycling.
368 - roadshows, events and
workshops we delivered in schools and communities, educating over
24,400 adults and children about reducing food waste, home composting, reuse
166 - events delivered by 40 volunteers, who
gave up 930 hours of their time.
91% - of attendees who said they were now
more interested in the repair, reuse and upcycling of furniture,
following us organising the first-ever London Upcycling Show.

Our Waste Services team supports local authorities and other organisations to
manage waste better. We work with local authorities, waste contractors, housing
providers, schools and other organisations to help adults and children reduce,
reuse and recycle their waste through community engagement programmes,
education programmes, marketing communications, consultancy work, staff provision
and staff training. They also offer services to monitor and evaluate the impact
of waste and recycling schemes and initiatives.
